How to Show Pings in numbers instead of signal bars

It's now possible to get your own and other people's ping displayed in numbers instead of those stupid signal bars !

Step 1. Download and Install the Developer Console Unlocker / Hack to get access to the (ingame) console. More information about that can be found here:

Step 2. Then when u get in game pull down the console and type (without the quotes)

"/cg_scoreboardpinggraph 0"
"/cg_scoreboardpingtext 1"

Setting both to 1 will show both text and ping.

You need to type this in the console because it won't work when added to .cfg files.

Step 3. You will get the numbers. This saves as far as I can tell but it will turn the graph back on if you close the game

    VAC2 Disabler. No Ban. Hacked with it (:D) And after a few months, havent been banned. Hacked with a public hack. Not paying for shit.

    It will get you banned. I was VAC banned the other week after trying the dev console hack a few weeks prior, which is fucking halarious seeing as I never actually got the console to work. (musta been after the patch to get rid of it) Still a kick in the teeth though but no matter, if I missed that game i'd have bought a new CD key by now. The real irony is while i'm getting banned for petty crap, people who bought their hacks online will in all probability never get caught. Chalk up another fail for MW2

    You have to run a .exe to get the console, so yeah, it will probably get you flagged by VAC.

    Using the console and getting banned would be a huge contradiction as it would mean that you got banned for using a feature which was advertised in the game manual

    In reality: There is a chance, but there is little known about this all.. Because the dev. console was obtained using this hack, it could lead to a ban.
