Rectification and more
A few days ago, I posted an article stating that Infinity Ward might have ‘stolen’ it’s “nuke inbound sound” from Resident Evil (The Movie). To put simply: I was wrong. It appears to be a generic sound from a sound library, widely used by several producers/developers/directors. For instance, this sound was also used in Half Life 2: Episode 1.
My sincere apologies for providing false information, I should have done more research. But hey, I’m a human, just like you, and every now and then, we all make mistakes.
As for the slow updates; My notebook has broken down (blame Medion !) and I am currently installing my new notebook, which takes quite some time, since I need to migrate/transfer all my data and applications from my old notebook to my new one. I will see if I can push out some new articles tomorrow but again, I also have other obligations.
Some people mentioned hiring volunteers to update the FrontPage. I’ve been thinking about that too for a while now, so expect an application thread to be made on the forums soon, so that potential editors can apply for the ‘job’.

FourZeroTwo’s Twitter not updated only by Robert himself ?
There's a good chance that the FourZeroTwo's Twitter is not just updated/maintained by Robert Bowling himself, but also by other Infinity Ward employees. It appears that FourZeroTwo uses several 'applications'/services to post Tweets on his Twitter account, including 'CoTweet'. CoTweet is specifically designed for multiple people to post from one account and keep things organized. It is aimed at businesses.

New hidden content found
Xbox 360 modder Bon3zz1001 found new hidden content in Modern Warfare 2. Again, some new game types have been found, though this time they aren’t playable like the hidden global thermonuclear war gametype. Bon3zz1001 found audio files for something called "Defcon" (Audio says "Defcon Team Deathmatch" for example), a new gametype called "Arms Race", and Team Deathmatch Pro, Free For All Pro, Search and Destroy Pro and Sabotage Pro. There's also voices for Team Tactical and Die Hard, and no, it's not 3rd person either.
Bon3zz1011 made a compilation of all the hidden voicefiles and uploaded them to youtube:

Just announcer voice-overs of things that got cut well before launch.
Interesting. Why cut things and not remove them. Saves disk space.. I smell DLC...
He also found inside the weapons folder the G3, G36, R700, M40, M240, SA80, AW50, a power drill, MP5, MP9, and the MP44.

Tough this might not seem valuable to you, it could mean potential DLC in the future. Bon3zz1011 didn’t managed to swap models yet, however he did manage to swap skins of existing in game weapons. For instance, In the screenshot below, he swapped the FALs camo with the G3s.

The Big List: Help Fix Modern Warfare 2

Are you sick of the innumerable amount of glitches that get fixed one at a time once a month? Which only seems to cause other errors which wastes valuable time which could be better spent fixing the real issues within the game such as glitches and achieving game balance.
Then you are at the right place.
No more shall we remain divided, with each of us trying to make a difference in our own small way with varying levels of constructiveness. This is where we become a collective group which hopes for one day a game we can all be proud of playing instead of... Actually this picture sums up the current situation nicely:
So what is the aim of all this? Enough people complained to get some changes made in the game, an example being the Model 1887's. If everyone could rally behind a single point which gives a logical and detailed analysis of what is wrong with the game, why, and how to fix it then we could achieve so much more.
Currently I am compiling a list of each problem within the game, giving an easy to understand yet comprehensive insight. I eventually plan to turn this list into a video. The list is currently in the video itself but I will upload a text only version soon.
Although one person cannot do this alone. This is where you guys come in. At the most basic level, you can help by supporting this video and sharing it with others who are also in the same boat.
For those who wish to contribute more, all you have to do is send me a list via email of all the problems you know about within the game itself. These things include glitches like being able to use a Riot Shield while on a mounted Machine gun or the F2000's red dot sight not going out during an EMP. You can also send in your thoughts about game balance issues also.
Please Note: This list/video will not cover items such as lag, cheaters & hackers and the other similar 'online' aspects of the game. There are no right or wrong suggestions/opinions, although some will be more relevant then others. Please pause at the 'list' part of the video if you are unsure what sort of level of feedback I am after.

Smoke bug caught on tape
The smoke bug, which got submitted weeks ago, is still alive and 'unpatched'. It was even featured in the latest Modern Warfare 2 Mythbusters episode by defend the house. But for those of you who have been living under a rock, here's a legal 'cheat' (a.k.a. trick) how to see trough smoke. It's included in the game already, so modifications of the game whatsoever
